Cheers! Novation Title Insurance Reflects on the Successes of 2018
As another year comes to a close and we reflect on the past year, we can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride at what we’ve accomplished. So much can happen in one year! We have seen our company as a whole and individual team members set and reach goals, have successes and setbacks, and most importantly — achieve growth. We believe that as long as we’re growing together and as individuals, we’re on track to great success.
2018 brought some major changes to Novation Title Insurance! From opening a new location to the addition of several new team members, growth has definitely been the theme of this year. As we approach the end of the year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what we’ve done in the past year and celebrate our successes!
Some highlights:
We celebrated our 3rd consecutive Best of State win in our category (title/escrow)! We were recognized for our innovation, our contribution to community and our care for the experience in a real estate process. All things we strive for each and every day!
We were able to give back by serving breakfast at the Volunteers of America Youth Resource Center and helping out at NAHREP’s Sub-for-Santa event. Contribution and giving back is a core value of ours and something we encourage our team members to take part in every year.
Our owner and CEO, Nuria Rivera, started a series of Powerhouse classes to teach, inspire and empower women in business in our community. We had so much fun learning from each other and can’t wait to see what these incredible women do in the future!
We opened a new location in Stansbury Park, Utah and are so excited to be a part of this community. Watching our company grow and reach new people in the real estate industry has been one of the most exciting and rewarding (and challenging!) parts of this year.
We welcomed several new team members who have been such a great addition to our team! We are lucky to have their experience and talent on board. We even welcomed the arrival of a few ‘future’ Novation Title Insurance team members!
We turned THREE this year! We had so much fun celebrating with our team, clients and colleagues. Any excuse to gather our favorite group of people and eat cake and tacos — we’re in!
As much fun as it has been to look back on the past year, we are so excited for 2019 and can’t wait to see what the new year brings! We are looking forward to new goals, new challenges and future growth. While we can all do our best to plan ahead, we can never fully predict what lies ahead of us. What we do know is, we are here to make some noise!
So…”here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they can change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” — Steve Jobs
Cheers to 2019!

Welcome, 2020! We made it through the first week of the New Year and are already excited for what’s to come in this brand new decade. Anything can happen, and we have so much to create! Whether you’re a fan of long-term resolutions or prefer setting smaller, short-term goals, it feels good to start the year off with a desire to change for the better. If you know us, you know our approach at Novation Title has always been goal-centric, not only within our business but in our personal lives and out in the community. In today’s world where we are constantly connected (and distracted), it’s no wonder that we increasingly find ourselves overwhelmed mentally and physically drained. Often, the issues in everyday life are the ones that prevent us from enjoying the very same everyday life! How can we balance this out? We believe we can do better. That is why we are introducing meditation into our workspace. While meditation has been practiced for over 5,000 years, it is increasingly becoming a necessary way for us to unplug from the modern world. But what, exactly, is it? Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique — such as mindfulness — to train attention and thoughts. Mindfulness is awareness, it is a state of peace. It is being in the present moment, intentional and serene. It is the process of being aware of your thoughts while also disconnecting from them so you can connect within. Connecting within is the highest form of intelligence and results in proven mental, emotional and spiritual health benefits. Here are just a few science-based benefits of meditation: Reduces blood pressure Increases serotonin production that improves mood and behavior Improves immune system Increase in energy levels Lessens stress and anxiety Increases happiness and creativity Clarity and peace of mind Increased memory retention and recall Enhances self-awareness and self-acceptance Each one of us, regardless of gender, age or other factors, undergo daily stress and tension at some level or the other. That’s why we’re so excited to introduce #NovationMeditation into our business and we encourage others to join us this year. We can ALL benefit from improved mental and physical health in 2020. Who’s with us?!
