It’s no secret that Utah is growing. As the third-fastest growing state in the nation, more people are calling the Beehive State home — living, working and consuming here. And that requires an impressive ability to meet not only housing and employment demands, but a wide variety of taste buds.
As a new generation of homebuyers flock to Utah’s booming capital city, Salt Lake’s foodie and nightlife scene is turning things up a notch and dressing to impress. Named recently as one of the Top 10 Foodie Cities in the US, Salt Lake is securing its place as one of the culinary hotspots of the West. With more than a dozen artisanal coffee roasters, close to 20 local breweries and a bold restaurant scene that is serving up cutting edge fare, Salt Lake has a surprisingly diverse dining repertoire.
Salt Lake’s culinary and nightlife scene just got even more appealing with five new openings, ranging from casual cafes and pub fare to experimental dining experiences that are perfect for après ski, before a show at the Eccles Center or after a Jazz game. The only problem: how to decide!
